Lorenzo Fluxá has finished the Formula 4 UAE, his first single-seater competition, with his best performance so far. The Spanish driver has finished all four races at the Dubai Autodrome on the podium and has won one more race to eventually become second on the championship.
Fluxá’s charge to the vice-championship started with a great race. The Majorcan driver fought for the win until the very end of Race 1 and crossed the line second, just 7 tenths behind the winner.
This result would be repeated on the second race, in which Fluxá was, again, on the lead group during the entire race and finished 3 tenths behind first position. The second win of the season finally arrived on Race 3, in which Fluxá beat the championship leader by one second and became closer than ever to second on the standings.
In the last race, he finished second again. His weekend was brilliant, with four out of four races on the podium. The points he scored in this round made him rise to second in the championship.
Despite taking long to claim his first win, his performance has been improving throughout the season. Lorenzo Fluxá has proved to be more than ready to start competing in Spanish Formula 4, whose season is scheduled to begin the 25th of April at Paul Ricard Circuit.
