The fourth round of the Formula 4 UAE season has seen Lorenzo Fluxá win his first race in a single seater. The Xcel Motorsport driver finished two races on the podium in what has been a solid weekend at the Dubai Autodrome.
After taking second place in qualifying, Fluxá had his most dominant performance so far in the season and won the first race by more than four seconds. The Spaniard has thus managed to win a race on his first Formula 4 season.
Race 2 was much harder, but Fluxá kept his consistency and extended his scoring streak by finishing fourth. A potential second win was very close on the third race and Fluxá gave his best to eventually finish second, achieving another podium. The round ended with another tough, difficult race where he finished fifth.
Fluxá is, with one last round to go, in place to fight for second place on the standings. He maintains fourth place after this round, 65 points behind the leader and just 16 points behind second position. The championship will be decided in Dubai in two weeks, the 6th and 7th of March.
