After winter testing, Lorenzo Fluxá finally made his official debut at a Formula 4 event. The Majorcan driver, racing for Xcel Motorsport in F4 UAE, started the weekend with the third best time in qualifying. In Race 1 he had a close fight for the win, finishing only 0.2s behind the winner. In Race 2 he also fought for the lead, but finished P5 after receiving a penatly after the race which took P3 away from him. Finally, in the third and last race of the weekend, he crossed the finish line in 3rd place, getting another podium. Fluxá leaves the Dubai Autodrome with 43 points in his pocket and becomes a clear championship contender. The next race will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on the 17th and 18th January.
